Framestore's New York office is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join our growing team on some new and exciting projects within our Immersive Division.

The Immersive Production Coordinator directly assists the Immersive producers and the wider Immersive team in the day-to-day running of the Immersive department and projects. Duties will vary - and will change/develop according to different projects - though the basic priority is to keep the production team running smoothly and efficiently.

This is a full-time staff role with benefits, and although we are currently working remotely, this position will eventually require working onsite in our New York studio.

  • Awareness of all US Immersive team's current and bidding projects; who is producing what, dates of major project milestones, and familiarity with our clients

  • Assist with booking team and client meetings / conference calls and taking detailed notes

  • Assist with scheduling crew and maintaining crew bookings/holds alongside the Producers and Crew Managers

  • Assist the Producers with Dailies meetings and taking detailed notes and distributing them to the team via production management tools such as CETA, Shotgun, or JIRA 

  • Support with documentation in Confluence, encouraging team to maintain documentation of any tools, technical processes, etc.

  • Support Producers during all stages of project life cycle from initial kick-off to final wrap and archive 
  • Assist Producers with project status reports

  • Wrangle and maintain comprehensive inventory of production and technical equipment

  • Conduct demonstrations of Immersive work (VR, AR applications) etc, as requested

  • Under the guidance and supervision of the producer, communicate any timely information to clients, vendors and/or members of the staff in a professional and respectful manner

Job requirements

  • Infectious passion for new technology and emerging platforms, and not intimidated by anything technical

  • Positive and proactive approach to all aspects of immersive content project management with desire to equally support the full team from production, to developers, and artists

  • Basic understanding of Agile development and software development life cycle

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently with clients and crew alike

  • Basic understanding of Post Production VFX roles, pipeline and vocabulary

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Thorough knowledge of spreadsheets and slides, aforementioned project tracking software and an ability to pick up new technology platforms quickly

  • A sense of humour- any time of the day, is always a plus
  • Must have valid US work authorization
