Senior Employer Brand/Marketing Manager

October 2021 saw us open our Mumbai studio, and we need an established and experienced employer brand and communications leader to help us build our brand, attract talent and tell our story in India. Working closely with management, creatives, producers, recruiters and Framestore’s global marketing team, the successful candidate will help establish Framestore as a force to be reckoned with and ensure our message reaches the India’s tech and creative communities.


We are looking for a confident, results-driven creative thinker and first-class strategist who is as comfortable working with traditional marketing tools as digital platforms, and someone with a proven track record in ‘cutting through the noise’ to generate attention-grabbing stories, campaigns and moments.


You will understand how to craft engaging, compelling marketing messages and campaigns, and how to reach new, untapped audiences. This new position will give the successful candidate the chance to help build and grow a key site for one of the world’s biggest and most respected visual effects studios, and to work alongside some of the industry’s most talented creatives and technologists.


The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Film and a passion for the industry. Experience working for a film, TV, content production or technology company is a plus, but is not essential.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the work and development of the Marketing Executive.
  • Building the brand and narrative for Framestore’s Mumbai studio.
  • Devising creative, strategic campaigns to boost the Mumbai studio’s reputation and position it as the go-to employer of choice for VFX professionals.
  • Overseeing the creation marketing materials for all communications and channels.
  • Identifying press partnerships and relationships, and generating media opportunities / thinkpiece ideas.
  • Identifying, securing and supporting speaking opportunities at conferences, seminars, festivals and awards events.
  • Generating creative ideas for showcasing the studio and its people - including ideas for webinars, speaking engagements, press opportunities, comment pieces and content for newsletters.

Job requirements

  • Experience of confidently dealing with top management and creatives.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and leading successful brand-building, recruitment, awareness-raising and/or change management campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, and the ability to craft nuanced messaging.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, with the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally.
  • Marketing degree at University or similar.


Desirable:

  • An understanding of India’s film, TV/Episodic, VFX or tech industries.
