Internal Grader | Colourist - Film & Episodic

The in-house grader for the Film VFX department supports the lighting and compositing departments with any colour related tasks that are better solved in Baselight rather than Nuke.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and publishing tech/look (VFX pre-grade or neutral) grades for source-plates on applicable shows under the supervision of the VFX or 2D Supervisor
- Operating the Baselight in client review sessions where grade tweaks may be required
- Conforming and grading house reels that have been cut by the VFX editors on shows
- Communicate with supervisor(s) and production on schedules and deliveries
- Work with the imaging department as required
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Pré-requis du poste
Essential Skiills:
- Experience with Baselight
- Experience with Nuke
- An understanding of colour science and film colour pipelines (OCIO, ASC-CDL, ACES)
- Able work well under pressure and able to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Desirable Skills:
- Shell scripting
- Python Scripting
