Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Layout works closely with the Heads of CG, Animation, and Environment within our Film and Episodic VFX division, to ensure the layout team are efficiently building shots and supporting animation and supervision in camera work and sequence layout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and work closely with the London and Montreal Head of layout.

• Have an overview of the different layout challenges on each show and offer practical ideas and hands-on solutions when needed.

• Responsible for the layout training procedures and documentation across the film division.

• Work closely with the Heads of CG and Heads of Pipeline to help keep the layout department operating at maximum efficiency.

• Work closely with the department manager to plan crewing assignments to shows.

• Work with recruitment to find potential candidates and attend interviews

• Plan appropriate career development targets for team members and be present in reviews.

• Work closely with production and supervision to help schedule work through the department
