As a Senior Games Producer at Framestore, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production and delivery of our interactive gaming projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists and programmers, to ensure the successful execution of game development initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in game production, and excellent project management and client-facing skills.
The Senior Games Producer reports to the Senior EP, Immersive. You will also be expected to work closely with the HOD and Real-time supervisor(s). As well as being responsible for London-based projects, the successful candidate will also be expected to liaise with international colleagues within the department and teams beyond when shared projects and initiatives occur. This hybrid role is a permanent position within the London team, however, you will need to be based in the UK and have the right to work here.
What you'll do:
Produce and manage budgets and schedules based on business and functional
requirements, anticipating opportunities and pressure points and thinking strategically
about how to address them
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including task assignments, schedules, and resource allocation.
Liaise with clients, corresponding closely on bids, reports, approval documents,
cash flow, change orders, etc
Collaborate daily with the project team and key support departments to ensure that all
projects are completed to the highest standard achievable
Provide regular verbal and written status reports to clients, management and internal teams
Lead the end-to-end production process for large-scale or multiple gaming projects, from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, programmers, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery of milestones.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and communicate them effectively to the team members and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project schedules or quality, and implement appropriate contingency plans.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure alignment with the game vision, design, and gameplay mechanics.
Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of the game development process, including game design, art, programming, and quality assurance
Familiarity with project management tools and software, e.g. JIRA & Shotgrid
A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current trends, player preferences, and industry best practices
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Proven track record of producing XR or real-time-based projects
7+ years experience as a producer in Games or similar industry
Highly technical, with a thorough understanding of CG/3D art workflows
Organised with first-class time/project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent client and crew management skills
Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks
Proven ability to manage high-revenue budgets
Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
