Visualisation Senior Producer
Job description
Within FPS, the Senior Producer is responsible for managing large scale projects across multiple creative services including previs, techvis, postvis and virtual production. They manage clients and internal crew on a project basis and are responsible for show production budgets, bidding and negotiating for new projects
The Senior Producer reports to and works closely with the Head of Visualisation to manage the production and artist teams. They provide effective guidance and training to junior producers and coordinators and work closely with FPS' Department Manager and other heads of department in FPS and Framestore's VFX and Immersive divisions on integrated projects.
Responsibilities:
Produce and manage budgets and schedules that take into account all aspects of pre-production, ensuring that the project is completed to the highest standard achievableLiaise with clients - correspond with clients via bids, reports, approval documents, Purchase orders, change orders on a project basis.Manage financial reporting of project revenue and actualsWork with the crewing team, HoV and supervisors to crew up on a project basisManage the Line producers and coordinators on a project basisOversee client deliveriesHandle performance, productivity, attendance and time keeping in liaison with team leadersEnsure security protocols are observed on a project basisDeliver project post mortems and ensuring wrap procedures are adhered toWork closely with HOV regarding pipeline and systems requirementsWork with counterparts in international studios on cross-site projectsMaintain a positive and professional working environment
Job requirements
Essential skills:
- Previous experience as Visualisation , VFX, or VP Line or Associate Producer,
- Highly organised with first-class time/project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client and crew management skills
- Thorough understanding of Pre-Production, VP and VFX workflows.
- Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
