Framestore’s Design Studio is a highly skilled team of visual artists made up of directors, designers and animators. They partner with global brands, agencies and artists to deliver beautiful, impactful work across any platform including advertising, episodic TV and Immersive projects. ​

The Role

  • Reporting to the Head of Studio and working closely with the Head of Design, the Design Producer is responsible for managing our clients, budgets and internal crew, bidding and negotiating for new projects and working with the creative and business management teams on new business developments and sales.

  • Setting up and managing all aspects of a project from inception through to delivery, allowing the designers to focus on the design work

  • Work with the wider team to kick off projects, gather requirements, manage time-lines, feedback revisions and deal with deliverables

  • Proactively identify upcoming conflicts and resource gaps and liaise with the relevant support departments as appropriate

  • Attend cross-discipline production meetings as representative of Design with a view to understanding where the team could add value to other projects within the Advertising Episodic and Immersive division

  • Work with the creative and business management teams to actively create and develop new business opportunities for the Design team

  • Proactively take part in sales for the Design Studio, helping to identify and shape strategies for sales predominantly in Advertising, but supporting where necessary in Immersive and long form shows.

  • Work with other Heads of Dept to achieve prior agreed sales targets, ensuring the team is kept busy and challenged.

  • Contribute to the marketing strategy for the Design Studio, helping to identify and deliver on needs for showreels, or specific pitch material at any point, as well as updating current showreels and marketing material.


This role is London based and applicants should have the right to work in the UK. It is also a hybrid position and we cannot accommodate remote working. 


Job requirements


  • Previous experience bidding and producing design specific projects (advertising, digital, VFX, broadcast, agency etc.)

  • Highly organised, calm and confident with first-class time/project management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent client and crew management skills

  • Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks

  • Ability to manage multiple projects across several clients with varying deadlines and deliverables


Desirable Experience

  • Existing client relationships with Brands, Advertising Agencies or Production companies.

  • Knowledge of/with Adobe CS products

  • Knowledge of 3D computer graphics, Maya and/or visual effects

  • An education in or previous experience within design

  • Existing industry contacts
