We are currently looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Immigration Law assistant to join the Human Resources Department for a temporary full-time 9 month contract.
What you’ll do:
Assisting the immigration department with administrative tasks
Preparing and construct temporary resident immigration applications for employees
Ensuring and updating the verification of information, documents and files
To respect deadlines
Collecting documents needed for immigration applications
Communicate with the various relevant departments (Recruitment, Department managers,
Human Resources, Finances, etc.)
Archiving and maintaining file classification
Preparing various reports
What we’re looking for:
Graduate or in the process of completing a diploma in Legal techniques, ACS or in the process of
completing an Immigration Consultants of Canadian Regulatory ACS or training in a related field
Great respect for deadlines
Ability to handle highly confidential information
Good sense of organization and ability to work on multiple files at once
Customer focused
Proficient in French and English, mastering a third language is an asset
