Doit être consultant réglementé en immigration canadienne (CRIC), membre d’une association professionnelle d’avocats provinciale ou territoriale, ou de la Chambre des notaires du Québec.
Au moins cinq ans d’expérience en gestion de dossiers d’immigration canadienne liés à l’emploi (à l’interne ou au sein d’un cabinet d’avocats).
Expérience précédente en mobilité globale et immigration, un atoût.
Connaissance approfondie des pratiques et de la réglementation en matière d’immigration au Canada.
Expérience de l’utilisation de logiciels de suivi de l’immigration.
Excellentes compétences en communication, en organisation et en relations interpersonnelles.
Grand sens de la discrétion et de la confidentialité.
Familiarité avec les audits et les visites sur place des organismes gouvernementaux (p. ex., Service Canada).

About the role
The Immigration Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s Canadian immigration processes. This role ensures compliance with Canadian and provincial immigration laws and regulations, supports foreign national employees, and partners HR, and leadership to execute strategic immigration and mobility initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Case Management: Manage all Canadian immigration matters including, but not limited to, CUSMA, GTS, ICT and other FTAs work permits as well as applications for permanent residence (PEQ, QWSP).
Employee Support: Serve as the main point of contact for foreign national employees, providing guidance on work permit options, timelines, and documentation.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and provincial immigration regulations and policies, including Service Canada, and CNESST requirements. Keep up to date on new policies and inform the team of changes that may affect that status’ of staff.
Policy Development: Develop and implement internal immigration policies and procedures in coordination with HR and legal departments.
Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate immigration records and metrics, generate reports for leadership and audits, and manage immigration tracking tools.
Strategic Planning: Advise on immigration implications for workforce planning, including hiring and international mobility.
Training & Communication: Educate HR, recruiters, and managers on immigration processes and best practices.
Management: Mentor and manage a direct report (Immigration Specialist).
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level qualification
Must be either a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC), a member of a provincial or territorial professional association of lawyers, or the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
5+ years of experience managing employment-based Canadian immigration matters (either in-house or with a law firm)
Advanced knowledge of immigration practices and regulations in Canada, strong understanding of US immigration matters is an asset.
Previous experience in Global mobility/immigration is an asset
Experience working with immigration tracking software
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Familiarity with audits and government site visits (e.g., Service Canada)
