A multi Oscar-winning creative studio, we have worked with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. About the role
The Capture TD is responsible for capturing a wide variety of reference to support Framestore’s internal VFX teams and external clients, from photography, videography and idar. The role is based out of the Chancery Lane studio but will involve working externally on-set and will have opportunities to travel for work abroad.
(Please note we currently do not have an open role but are interested to hear from people who are available or would be interested in Framestore)
What you’ll do:
Processing and management of data as per Framestore’s folder structure and templates
Ensure hardware is in operating order and maintained
Data acquisition using techniques such as photography, videography and/or lidar
What we’re looking for:
A strong level of understanding of photography, videography and digital image acquisition
A firm knowledge of photogrammetry acquisition and processing
Experience of LiDAR scanning and processing
Experience with photogrammetry software - Metashape, Maya, Reality Capture, Adobe Suite
Strong organisational skills including knowledge of MS Office and Google Work apps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, both internal and external client
Ability to remain calm when under pressure
Desire to work across multi-disciplinary, technical, creative, and fast-paced environments
Able to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently
You might also have:
Interest in game development - Unreal Engine
Python, HSL and/or command line scripting skills
Driving Licence
Interest in Motion Capture
