Please note this position is hybrid and requires regular days in our London studio as well as potential travel so we cannot accommodate fully remote working.

This role is initially a 12 month contract (with potential for extension); we cannot provide VISAs or UK relocation so please only apply if you are already able to work in the UK.

The Role

Framestore Immersive is looking for Production Assistants to join our Immersive team - working closely with project and new business teams across rides and themed experiences that push the boundaries of visual effects and creative technology.

This is a great opportunity for someone proactive, organised, curious and keen to build a career in production for projects that sit outside of a traditional 16:9 screen. You’ll be part of a supportive and passionate team, helping keep communication flowing and teams running smoothly day to day.

You’ll support Management, EPs, Producers and the wider production team with practical and organisational tasks, ensuring communication is clear, schedules are up to date, and information flows easily across the team.

You’ll also be:

  • Supporting management and EPs with new business-related tasks such as presentation preparation, deck support, data tracking, task tracking and industry updates

  • Communicating with crew, supervisors and clients

  • Taking notes in meetings and reviews, and sharing follow-ups/action points

  • Helping with general administrative tasks as needed, including assisting with travel booking and cost tracking

  • Managing calendars and scheduling meetings

  • Uploading and delivering materials internally and to clients

  • Acting as a reliable point of contact within the production team

Job requirements

Essential Skills:

  • A strong passion and interest in Immersive projects, gaming, location-based experiences, theme park attractions or Immersive theatre - with the ability to talk about these and demonstrate that interest in existing experiences/attractions and upcoming developments across the industry

  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with crew and clients

  • Able to work well under pressure

  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills

  • Experience taking detailed notes, with the ability to identify action points and next steps

  • Strong computer skills especially with MS Office/G-Suite

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Production Assistant role

  • Some knowledge or understanding of visual effects, real-time interactive or post-production

  • Previous experience using a database, e.g. Shotgun/shotgrid/flow/Jira or a similar production-oriented tool
