About the role

The VFX Production Assistant provides support to the post-production team and ensures that the workflow runs smoothly. They are responsible for performing administrative tasks and liaising with various departments to ensure the successful communication between the team. 

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with the Production Team on a daily basis and assisting them when needed.

  • Ensure the Show calendar is up to date.

  • General administrative duties as required such as setting up client calls (CineSync) and keeping track of Daily Absences and Holiday, maintaining the Absences email thread and taking notes in morning Production Meetings. 

  • Coordinate with the editorial & data teams to ensure the organisation of assets and materials.

  • Prepare for various meetings and dailies. 

  • Be the client data champion, by maintaining project files and ensuring that they are organised and up-to-date. 

Job requirements

What you’ll have:

  • Prior experience in a Production Assistant role

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the Production Team. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Excellent organisation skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word; Google Suite including Gmail; Sheets and Docs.

  • Proactive, diligent and meticulous.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent in English, oral and written.

  • Technical literacy. 

  • Curiosity of the VFX Pipeline & Workflows

You might also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in VFX, Film, Media production, or Related field

  • Some knowledge or understanding of VFX processes and terminology

  • Previous experience using Shotgun (Shotgrid)
