About the role

As a VFX Producer at Framestore, you are responsible for the strategic delivery and financial health of large-scale film and episodic projects. You will manage the roadmap from initial bid to final delivery, balancing budget management with complex production schedules. Working as a key partner to the creative supervisors and the client, you will lead the production team and proactively manage risks to ensure project success.

You will work closely with the Executive Producer to provide effective guidance to more junior Producers and Coordinators, while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with other Producers and Heads of Department.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the EP and key creatives to design and manage the budget and schedule from award to delivery, ensuring milestones are met and high standards are maintained

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations and trust through regular reporting, bids, and change orders

  • Proactively identify and resolve risks to the budget or timeline to maintain peak production efficiency throughout the project lifecycle

  • Partner with Resourcing and Department Managers to ensure accurate artist allocations and manage team productivity and performance

  • Lead the production team, fostering a culture of high performance, professional growth, and clear internal communication

  • Oversee the technical and administrative setup of the project, ensuring all departments are aligned with the global production strategy

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Credited experience as a VFX Producer on high-end film or episodic projects

  • A track record of managing high-revenue budgets, including bidding, cost-tracking, and managing change orders

  • Thorough understanding of live-action and CG-based VFX workflows, with the ability to navigate complex technical pipelines

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and manage project milestones in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage both client expectations and internal crew dynamics

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while leading a team toward a common goal and mentoring junior production members

  • Thorough understanding of live-action and CG based VFX workflows

  • Experienced with Shotgun/Shot Grid and Excel/Google sheets
