  • On-site, Hybrid
    • London, Greater London, United Kingdom

Job description

Please note this position is hybrid and requires days in our London studio as well as potential travel so we cannot accommodate fully remote working. We also cannot provide VISAs or UK relocation so please only apply if you are already able to work in the UK.

Framestore’s Immersive Studio is a world-leading innovator in crafting immersive experiences that transcend the screen, catapulting you into extraordinary realms of adventure. Combining our unrivalled creative craftsmanship with our technical prowess, we're dedicated to reframing expectations for both IP owners and their guests with creative technology, location-based entertainment, and mind-blowing theme park rides.

Framestore combines talent and technology to bring life to everything we create, whether in film, TV, advertising or immersive experiences. Driven by creativity and inspired by the future, we set out every day to reframe the possible.

The Role

Framestore is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Immersive team - working closely on a variety of projects across rides, themed experiences and projects that push the boundaries of visual effects and creative technology.

You’ll work closely with Producers, Supervisors, Creatives, Developers and artists, acting as a key point of connection across the department. With a practical, solution-focused approach, you’ll help keep projects organised, informed and moving forward to help deliver work on time, on budget and to a high creative standard.

You’ll support the Producer and project teams by tracking workflows, managing schedules and coordinating communication across teams. You’ll help ensure everyone has the information they need, deadlines are met, and deliveries run smoothly - all while contributing to a positive and professional working environment.

You’ll also be:

  • Tracking work across departments and liaising with crew managers on start and end dates

  • Organising dailies, rounds and meetings, taking notes and following up on actions

  • Keeping ShotGrid and/or JIRA up to date with accurate notes, schedules and artist information

  • Overseeing client deliveries that could be in a variety of formats such as QTs and engine builds, including temps and final outputs

  • Managing edits in collaboration with the editorial team

  • Coordinating resources and working closely with support departments

  • Taking a proactive, calm and solution-oriented approach to challenges

Job requirements

Essential Skills:

  • A strong interest in Immersive projects, gaming, location-based experiences, theme park attractions or Immersive theatre - with the ability to talk about these and demonstrate that interest in existing experiences/attractions and upcoming developments across the industry

  • Previous experience as a Production Coordinator for VFX, game engine or Immersive projects

  • First-class time/project management skills with proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks

  • Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic understanding of live-action and CG-based visual effects workflows, including common file formats and resolutions

  • Experienced note taker, with ability to capture key information and provide action points/tasks and summary of detailed information

  • Enjoys building relationships with crew members and being able to adopt different styles of communication for different personalities

Desirable Skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel and Project)

  • Good knowledge of shotgrid

  • Experience working on realtime projects in game engine
