Framestore Montreal is looking for the next generation of VFX talent to take part in our 8-week paid summer internship working in our award-winning VFX team.
Our internship program is focused on developing the candidate's skills in a production environment. You will be matched with a mentor, and get the chance to learn through hands-on experience, internal team presentations, personal projects, and informal get-togethers. You will work alongside other interns and many talented and experienced artists on a variety of projects.
In previous years, Launchpad interns have had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects such as Wicked, IF and a host of other great shows. We have some fantastic projects lined up for 2025 so there will be plenty of opportunity to work on exciting projects!
The internship will start on June 16th 2025 until August 8th 2025. Here is the list of open departments: Animation, Assistant Technical Director, Production/Crewing, Layout, Texture and Compositing.

What we are looking for:
A good working knowledge of 3D software in your field of specialization
A willingness to take on challenges with a sense of teamwork and a keen sense of curiosity
A good eye for details and photorealism
A student currently in a 3D animation/VFX program or who graduated from a 3D animation/VFX program in the past 12 months
Need to be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the internship*
Be at a commutable distance of Montreal*
*We can’t assist with relocation or visa sponsorship
