The multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic studio, at Framestore has worked with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. Collaborating with directors and producers across the complete filmmaking process to help design, plan and create beautiful images, we focus on finding innovative creative solutions to support their vision and set new standards for visual effects in cinema.

About the role

This is an existing role within our team.

The Studio Runner works as part of the Operations team and reports directly to the Studio Coordinator.

The role requires 5 days per week in the office.

Only local candidates with Australian working rights are eligible for this role.

What you’ll do

  • Provide general assistance to our clients and employees

  • Help our clients to feel comfortable by providing first class hospitality service

  • Ensure that our facilities are kept clean and tidy at all times and that all kitchen areas are well stocked, clean and maintained

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and arrange orders where necessary; ensuring refreshments, stationery, general office equipment and restrooms are well stocked

  • Adhoc support work with the Technology team, assisting with equipment and organisation when needed

  • Prepare meeting rooms

  • Help prep and run internal and external events

  • Ad hoc administrative or building services duties as required and assigned by the operations team

  • May be required to lift and carry deliveries, office equipment including desks

Job requirements

  • Passion, enthusiasm and the desire to succeed

  • Demonstrate ability to use initiative when problem solving

  • The ability to thrive in a team environment

  • Able to maintain a sense of humour in a sometimes high pressure environment

  • Ability to lift boxes and office equipment and sometimes be busy on your feet for long periods

  • A degree of equivalent qualification in your chosen speciality, which may be technical or general (we also welcome applicants who are qualified through experience within the post-production or hospitality industry)
