The multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic studio, at Framestore has worked with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. Collaborating with directors and producers across the complete filmmaking process to help design, plan and create beautiful images, we focus on finding innovative creative solutions to support their vision and set new standards for visual effects in cinema.
We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Clerk to join our Montreal Facilities team. This role reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for delivering first-class front-of-house services to clients, visitors, and staff.
What you’ll do:
Reception & Guest Services: Greet visitors, manage sign-ins/outs, and maintain the lobby’s organization and security.
Security Compliance: Control site access via electronic badge systems, maintain visitor logs, and handle confidential documents with discretion.
Communication: Manage phone inquiries,emails, and internal employee directories
Travel & Logistics: Coordinate travel bookings and manage all incoming/outgoing studio deliveries.
Administrative Support: Assist the Office Manager and Head of Facilities with spreadsheets, proposals, vendor relationships, and monthly credit card reports.
Team Collaboration: Work with the Runners team and assist in planning for internal and external visitor arrivals.
Job Requirements
What we’re looking for:
Availability: Willingness to work on-site full-time.
Communication: Bilingualism (French/English) with excellent writing skills.
Experience: 1–2 years in a receptionist, operations support, or hospitality role.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows, G Suite, and MS Office.
Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and a friendly, professional demeanor under pressure.
You might also have:
Experience in the VFX/film/creative industry or facilities management.
Familiarity with Canva and Mailchimp.
A background in fast-paced, customer-oriented environments.
